Accessibility Statement

Introduction

Legislative Decree No. 82 of May 27, 2022, implemented Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 17, 2019, on the accessibility requirements for products and services.
Guidelines on the accessibility of services were issued pursuant to Article 21 of Legislative Decree No. 82/2022.
The decree was published in the Official Gazette (General Series No. 152 of 01-07-2022) and entered into force on July 16, 2022; however, the relevant provisions take effect from June 28, 2025.

Iginio Massari S.r.l. is committed to making its websites accessible in compliance with Law No. 82 of May 27, 2022, which transposed Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 17, 2019, on the accessibility requirements for products and services. This accessibility statement applies to the websites https://www.iginiomassari.it/.

Compliance Status

The website https://www.iginiomassari.it/ is partially compliant with the requirements of Annex A of UNI EN 301549:2018 (WCAG 2.1) due to the cases of non-compliance and/or the exceptions listed below. Iginio Massari S.r.l., together with its suppliers, is conducting an analysis aimed at implementing the necessary measures to make the relevant websites accessible and compliant with the standard.

Inaccessible Content

The following content is not accessible because it is not compatible with the harmonised standard EN 301 549:

  • On most pages, images are missing captions. It is difficult to navigate to the images using screen readers. | WCAG: 1.1.1

  • There are links without link text on all pages. | WCAG: 4.1.2

  • On all pages, the contrast between text and background is too low. | WCAG: 1.4.3

  • On single pages, there are 'iframe' elements without captions. Navigation to these iframes using screen readers is difficult. | WCAG: 4.1.2

  • On many pages, form fields lack labels. It is difficult to navigate to these form fields with screen readers. | WCAG: 4.1.2

  • There are headings on a page that lack labels or contain the aria-hidden attribute, making them inaccessible to screen readers. | WCAG: 1.3.1

  • On a page, a parent element is missing appropriate child elements. This can confuse screen reader users as content is expected but not present. | WCAG: 1.3.1

  • On several pages, there are elements with the aria-hidden attribute that can still receive focus. This makes these elements accessible to assistive technologies, even though they should be hidden. | WCAG: 4.1.2

  • On some pages, links are indistinguishable from surrounding text. | WCAG: 1.4.1

  • On a page, there are sliding elements that cannot be scrolled using the keyboard. This makes it difficult for assistive technology users to access the entire page. | WCAG: 2.1.1

  • There are interactive elements on all pages whose names are not part of their labelling. This makes it difficult to control the website via voice commands. | WCAG: 2.5.3

  • On all pages, there are elements whose Aria IDs are duplicated. This makes navigation with screen readers difficult. | WCAG: 4.1.2

The code improvements made to date and those planned in the future have been and will be developed in compliance with the WCAG 2.2 guidelines.
